Women and the temperance movement

The temperance movement, started by female activists to combat increasing domestic violence changed the lives of many. People like Carrie Nation, Mary Walker WilleBrandt and the Womens Christian Temperance Union were extremley prominant figures within the movement to create change for women across the country
